The planning of the Vodacom Winter festival 2012 is already underway with hopes of it being even bigger,better and more successful.
The Vodacom Winter festival is the biggest of its kind in Northen kwaZulu Natal and will be celebrating its 25th year on the NKZN calender.”
The committee took notice of the comments directly after the 2011 festival and made a decision to aske the community for their ideas, suggestions and any other positive comments,” said the festival vice project manager, John Pieters.
“ We would also like to invite the community to submit ideas for the artists for 2012.”

In 1997 he broke onto the international music scene when he recorded the duet You Don't Bring Me Flowers with Belgian star Dana Winner for his album True to You. This track was also recorded in Dutch and charted in Belgium at No. 2 in the Top 100. Winner and Hofmeyr performed together to sold-out shows in both Belgium and South Africa. One of his self-penned songs is currently a hit for her in Europe.[citation needed]
